Sir David Attenborough
We would like to celebrate an 'accidental' World Spiritual Teacher: the naturalist, David Attenborough. The man is no less than ninety-seven-years-old this year and still busy observing wildlife the planet over! His gentle approach and beautiful voice has brought almost every aspect of the natural world into our living rooms.. and into our hearts.. for so long..via the good old BBC.
He is one of few to have been invited to an audience with Barack Obama. who so admired him and his perspicacity of mind. He has brought many into touch with the animal kingdom through film and documentary; he has observed the unobservable, listened to the inaudible and experienced the unknowable. A truly spiritual man, but one who would never easily describe himself as such.
We need teachers like this to bring the wonders of the earth to the people of earth - forerunners in their own right - that we may see beyond our own limitations (Kryon channel from Crete) and embrace that our own 'universe' is rather bigger than we think!
